Villa Augusta (V. dei Villini 2)

Villa Augusta (V. dei Villini 2)

The villa, also called White Villa (Villa Bianca), is located at the beginning of the territory of Ariccia coming from Albano, along via Appia Nuova (via dei Villini, n. 2), on the right. It was built in 1910 in neoclassical style and purchased in 1918 by Cavalier Oreste Bianchi, who decorated the park with archaeological finds. The villa hosted Gregory Peck in the summer of 1952 during the filming of "Roman Holiday". After ownership passed to the Ramacci family in 2007, the building went through a radical restoration between 2009 and 2010.
